The idea of this project is to make lights for 30/10 gallons fish tank for relatively cheap or with items you already have.

20in x 2 in a piece of wood or metal. (10G)
2x M5 screws 30mm
Hot glue
Tape or carbon Vinyl
Led strip controller & power supply based on the led strip you are using.
Total Cost: $5
For this project, I used Fusion 360 to design two holders that will be attached to the edges of the tank that will hold the wood piece.
Step 1:
Using the tape or carbon vinyl attach it to the wood piece. The reason I did that to make it easier to use hot glue to attach the light strip since it won't attach directly to the wood.
Step 2:
Attach the led strip to the wood piece using the hot glue. You can mix between RGB or Blacklight for this project.
Step 3
Attach the two holders to the side of the wood using the M5 screws.
Step 4
Make sure everything is placed correctly and no wires hanging or touching the water. After that just slide the holders into the edges of the tank.
